Q. Will any type of insurance be needed?
Yes, liability insurance will be required. Permittee will have the option to either:
Purchase and maintain a liability policy through the State Tenant Users Liability Insurance (“TULIP”) offered through an insurance broker approved by the State Fair. Once your Single Day Rental application has been reviewed and approved it will be forwarded to the insurance broker who will contact you for the purchase and issuance of the policy. This must be purchased and provided to the State Fair no later than 14 calendar days or the reservation will be dropped.
OR
Provide proof of other liability coverage with coverage limits in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate.
Q. What comes with the space?
Space comes as is, with a designated number of tables and chairs (quantities listed on rate sheet) along with trash disposal. You must provide any and all additional needs for your event.
Q. What food and beverage options do you offer?

Q. Can I provide food for my own event?
Homemade and potluck style food is allowed. Any purchased food or food from a professional catering service must be provided by a vendor from the list shown in the previous question.
Q. What are the hours?
Daily rentals are available from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Q. Can we provide our own alcohol?
No. Any alcohol must be served by an approved caterer. Click to view our approved Food, Beverage & Catering Service List.
Q. What is the policy on smoking and vaping?
Smoking of tobacco and cannabis, plus any type of vaping, are prohibited anywhere on the Fairgrounds.
Q. Are BBQ grills and/or smokers allowed?
No, with the exception of those used by approved caterers.
Q. Are we able to plug into the outlets available in the rented spaces?
Yes, you can use any of the standard 110v outlets in your rental space.
Q. Can we come back the next day to retrieve decorations?
No. All rental spaces must be returned to their original condition before you leave.
Q. How much area outside the rental space am I allowed to use?
Unless specified, any additional space is not included.
Q. Are we allowed to camp or sleep over on the grounds?
No, there is no overnight camping.
Q. Are games of chance (raffles, etc.) allowed at fundraiser events?
Please visit the Gaming Commission website for more information on charitable gaming.
