Pokéfest – Syracuse

CNY Promotions is excited to announce a new show to their lineup.

POKEFEST – Syracuse, a TCG Collectibles Show will take place on Sunday – October 5 at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

If you’re a fan and collector of Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Digimon Card Game, DragonBall Z and many others then this is the show for you.

This show will include Trading Cards, Games, Toys, Funko Pops, Plush and more all related to TCG. There will also be a gaming area and a panel area.

Appearing in person will be Michael Haigney, sometimes called Roger Kay, who is an American television Producer, voice actor, voice director. Haigney was the original Voice Director for the Pokémon anime and the first four movies, responsible for adapting the scripts for an English audience. He is also the voice actor who provided the voices for dozens of Pokémon heard throughout the early Pokémon anime, such as Ash's Charmander and Snorlax, Misty's Psyduck, and James's Koffing and Weezing. His voiced Pokémon can also be heard in several video games, such as Pokémon Puzzle League and the Super Smash Bros. franchise of games.

Also appearing will be voice actor Rodger Parsons will be appearing. Parsons, previously credited as Ken Gates, is an American voice actor, narrator and writer. He is best known as the English narrator for the Pokémon television series. Parsons began as the Pokémon narrator with the very first episode of the show in 1998. He even did a few characters early on. For most of his 49 year career, he has voiced commercials, industrials, documentaries, instructional, anime, and informational, other entertainment venues

This is the first of this type of show in Central New York, exclusively only TCG related items.

The show will take place inside the Science & Industry Building. Early Bird admission is $20 and can enter the show at 9:30 am, General Admission is $10 and you can enter the show starting at 10:00 am. 12 & under is free. The show ends at 4:00 pm.
