The Trick or Trot Horse Show is the final opportunity for exhibitors to accumulate points for the Bridle Path Manor Super Series Year End Awards. In addition to Hunter and Equitation classes, the show will feature costume classes for dogs and horses.
Exhibitors will be allowed to school in the coliseum over fences on Thursday from 4:00 to 10 p.m., and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m.
Classes on Friday begin at 9:00 am, with over fence classes in the Schooling, Hopeful, Low, and Special Hunter divisions, followed by their respective flat classes. After a schooling break, and not before 3:00 p.m., Beginner Rider, Intermediate Rider, Pony, and Limit Rider classes will take place.
Saturday begins with hunter classes over fences at the 2’3” – 3’ heights, followed by a variety of flat classes. A mid-day schooling break will precede the finish of Beginner, Intermediate, Pony and Limit Rider hunter classes over fences. The final events on Saturday will be the judging of the Dog Costume and Horse Costume classes and announcement of the winner of the Stable Decorating Contest.
On Sunday we move directly to the Child/Adult classes and Bit O’ Straw Hunter Classic at 2’6”, followed by Junior/Amateur classes and the Marshall & Sterling 3’ Classic. Maiden Walk/Trot, Walk/Trot, Short/Long Stirrup, and Low & Slow flat and cross rail classes complete the day’s program, and bring Bridle Path Manor’s horse showing season to a conclusion.
Super Series Year End Awards will be given at the annual winter event. Be sure to stop in the horse show office for more information about purchasing tickets.
