State Fair Food Fest

Find the State Fair Food Fest in the Fair's Midway Parking Lot... Enter Gate 6, right off State Fair Blvd. and follow the signs!

After bringing smiles and a taste of Fair to the Orange lot all last summer, the Villa Pizze Fritte is at it again. This time the State Fair Food Fest will set up on the Fairgrounds and partner with other Fair favorites Big Kahuna and Main Event Amusement’s Carnival Eats Syracuse. With a change in protocols this year’s edition will allow for the event to be a walk up instead of drive through only. Safety precautions will still be in place with social distancing in line and masks will still be required in line and when ordering.

Villa Pizze Fritte, Big Kahuna and Carnival Eats Syracuse will be serving, the world Famous Pizze Fritte, Gyros, Italian Sausage, Philly Cheese Steak, Deep Fried Oreos, Deep Fried Twinkies, Funnel Cakes, Corn Dogs, Fried Cheese on a Stick, Cotton Candy Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Frozen Lemonade, Deep Fried Pickles and Candy and Carmel Apples an everyone’s favorite Ashley Lynn Wine Slushies.

All required safety precautions will be in place and all employees will wear masks and gloves. Proper social distancing and masks will be required when ordering. Items can be paid for by cash, credit or debit card.

The State Fair Food Fest is growing this week with rides and games courtesy of Main Events Amusements. Tentative ride offerings include Avengers Ride, The Scrambler, Spinning Apples, Youth Roller Coaster, Merry-Go-Round, Children’s Motorcycles, Swings, Giant Slide and the Children’s Train Ride. There will be a pay-one-price, ride-all-day wrist band for $20 that can be shown without contact when entering any ride. Wristband sales will be limited in order to maintain proper distancing and reduces the potential of overcrowding.

All rides, games and other offerings have been approved by the New York and Onondaga County heath departments and will will operate under Covid-19 safety protocols. Seating on the rides and the areas for lining up to get on them will follow social distancing protocols. All rides and games will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily, with spot cleaning throughout the day.
